Bring your monster appetites for monster shakes and lunch
XS Espresso have expanded their initial cafe in Wetherill Park to another in the homemaker centre at North Parramatta. If there is one thing you should go out for right now it’s a monster shake. Monster Oreo, Tim Tam, Ice cream topped with waffles, whipped cream There is a noticeable sugar high you get from slurping one of these milkshakes – it’s a delicious way to put a perk in your step.
Bean lovers will be very pleased with the Spanish bread bowl poached egg, chorizo, cheese, Spanish onions, baby cherry tomatoes the round loaf is hollowed out and stuffed to the brim with kidney beans in a melted cheese sauce. I’ve previously enjoyed the XS Stack avocado, grilled tomato, halloumi, poached eggs on sourdough this version is upgraded with leafy garnishes however I find the mashed avocado doesn’t need added lime.
Or sink your jaws into a Porky’s Burger sandwiched between brioche buns is a chunky piece of twice cooked crispy pork belly with braised pickled red cabbage served with chips. It’s perfect sashed down with a new to the menu N2 Creaming Soda don’t be alarmed by the misty vapour, it’s perfectly safe to drink.
You’re also spoilt for cronuts since XS Espresso have some of the most lavishly decorated ones out there. Boost bars, Freddo frogs, Oreo cookies, Crunchy bars, M&Ms and lashings of caramel make it as much of a treat for the eyes as it is for your mouth.
