#burgersonfleek at The Observer Hotel
Within the Observer Hotel is The Burger Joint – a pub that boasts the title of Top 5 burgers in Sydney by Time Out magazine, Good Food guide, SMH and Daily Telegraph. Well with credentials like that I had to see for myself.
MsBrulee dined as guests of The Observer Hotel. Opinions however are my own.
The burger joint has your typical pub menu but I didn’t try any of that because the burgers look like this:
Oh. Yeah. Thick juicy patties? Yep. Melty cheese? Check. Soft, fluffy bun? Mhmm!
Oh and I also had the blue cheese beef burger - it’s got all the hallmarks of a great burger. Without rehashing, just scroll up to read what I had to say about the American beef burger from here. There was only a smear of pungent blue cheese which is sweetened with a touch of honey so I think they paired together well.
Chicken lovers are not left out, the chicken schnitzel burger is fused with strong Italian flavours of pepperoni, melty provolone, briny olives and garlic-y bun.
If you’re really hungry, all burgers are served with a huge side of salad and chips so you don’t have to be concerned with any meagre portions. Weekday burger meal deals differ daily and are available for the very reasonable sum of $12.
I really enjoyed the burgers, in fact I’ve already been back once and see myself going there again in the future.
