Tell your friends all about this unique-sounding Chinese restaurant that serve up animal-shaped dumplings and plenty of mouth-watering fare.
Sample some deep fried goodness like the 7 flavoured tofu jasmine flower, seasoned with red pepper, seaweed, black and white sesame or the Eggplant dish. Crunchy, sticky sweet chrysanthemum eggplant batons in honey soy coating, that are meltingly soft inside.
The most popular dishes are by far the Instagram worthy dumplings. Mr Luyu “Starburst” dumplings are multicoloured parcels of chicken pleated with a fruit infused flour dough. They are completely savoury despite their candy-like appearance and completely delicious.
The adorable Snow White rabbit dumplings have been pleated into the shape of a fluffy bunny, stuffed with a tasty filling of plump prawns, asparagus and bamboo shoots. Manga dumplings are shaped as little “Hedgehogs” the dough on these is a touch too tough, however the vegetarian filling a mixture of King oyster mushroom, fungi, carrot and coriander.
Gimicky? Certainly, but these are some damn good dumplings and they are so very cute. I’m sold.
