About Guylian
The company was founded in 1960 by Guy and Liliane Foubert. The combination of their first names created the name Guylian. Guylian distinguished itself from its competitors by offering chocolates in seashell shapes. This heralded the start of a worldwide success story. Guylian chocolates are internationally sold in more than 100 countries. Guylian established itself as a premium brand with international recognition offering high quality chocolate creations for gifting, sharing and self indulgence.

MsBrulee dined as guests of Guylian Belgian Chocolate Cafe. Opinions however are my own. 

The concept
The Guylian Belgian Chocolate Café is an international franchise concept, owned by Chocolaterie  Guylian NV, based in Belgium. The Guylian Belgian Chocolate Café concept began trading in 2008. After building a strong reputation for quality products and consistently outstanding service, company spokesperson Mr Patrick Freriks advised that the company decided in 2014 to Franchise the business and use the established  systems and procedures to take the concept to a broader market. In April 2015, Mr Freriks will be present overseeing the opening of the first store in the Middle East set to open in Abu Dhabi. Plans are already in place to open further stores in the Middle East in 2015.

100% Pure Pleasure Belgian chocolate mousse and almond panna cotta topped with pure dark chocolate icing $18.50


Guylian Praliné Cream Liqueur 16% $10.50

Made in house, the Guylian Praline Cream liqueur is creamy with just enough alcohol to warm the throat, it’s a great accompaniment to the desserts.

All the desserts we sampled were beautiful, crafted with care and fabulously indulgent, especially if you have the chocolate ones.

Sun – Thurs: 8am to 11pm
Fri & Sat: 8 am to Midnight
