Chocolate degustation just in time for Easter
Available for the month of April, diners have the gleeful option of a 3 course chocolate degustation from Glass Brasserie for $40 pp
Rhubarb, strawberry, Zephyr white chocolate cream and basil doused in vivid red strawberry sauce. It’s light and fantastically tart, great for waking up the taste buds.
Following such a fruity starter, up next we have a dessert that’s the polar opposite. A chocolate rich Sacher torte that features Pur Noir chocolate delice, tonka bean custard and peanuts. Every bite of this is creamy, silky and utterly smooth.
An egg of 55% dark chocolate has the shell painted on with hues of baby blue and warm brown. To eat our server picks the egg up with a pair of tongs and allows it to fall on the plate. It breaks open to reveal a fluffy whipped coconut cream and mandarin yolk.
Not content with chocolate in solid form, a Death by Chocolate cocktail $15 should also satiate those that enjoy their sweets a little bit boozy and in liquid form. It includes Havana rum shaken with Amaretto and chocolate liqueur in a coconut water base with indulgent white chocolate shavings.
