The festive high tea at Shangri-La Hotel designed by Anna Polyviou is available from 1 Dec 2016 through 31 Dec 2016. On offer at the Lobby Lounge, for 55AUD per person this includes three tiers of sweet and savoury delights.
In the middle tier are the savoury bites. A highlight is the tomato quiche served cold, the prawn and caviar in sweet rolls add a touch of luxury. While the turkey sandwich and ham buns leave you feeling satisfied.
The final and most anticipated for many is the dessert tier. This colourful platter features a syrup -soaked scroll, delicate citrus cups, glazed cream on biscuit base and my personal favourite, the cherry and dark chocolate tart with matcha sponge pieces – utterly divine little bites.
