Bar Chinois, Chippendale

East meets West washed down with teapot cocktails

A great night at Bar Chinois will begin with a teapot cocktail, Coco Chanel $32 it is a clear teapot filled with a conversation-inducing mix of coconut tequila, pomme verte, cointreau, passionfruit, fresh lime, lemon sorbet and blood orange soda.

Small bites like the Spanner crab and cod croquettes, wasabi bearnaise $14 and Crispy slow cooked pork belly bite, pickled daikon, apple puree and chilli soy sauce $17. It’s the kind of cooking reserved for a dinner party.
